Sophie is a Black feminist of Ethiopian and Cameroonian heritage. Before joining GADN, Sophie was the Senior Gender Policy Advisor at Christian Aid. Prior to that her previous posts have included the role of Gender Officer for the National Democratic Institute in Malawi. Sophie has an MSc in Development Administration and Planning from UCL.
